Montgomery County Interfaith Hospitality Network (MCIHN), an affiliate of Family Promise, was begun in 2001. We serve homeless families in the area of Montgomery County,Texas, by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals, and compassionate assistance. MCIHN receives vital assistance from fifteen host congregations and five support congregations in Montgomery County.

  The Vision:

Montgomery County Interfaith Hospitality Network will be a premier organization recognized for providing shelter for homeless families with children, which leads them to successful independent living. To do this we will be a well-funded, properly staffed, compassionate organization that encourages and recognizes volunteer commitment. We will be advocates for low-income housing and we will make more services available by doubling the size of the existing church network and by developing a new day center. Working with all interested parties, our ultimate goal will be to eliminate homelessness for families with children in Montgomery County.

The Mission Statement:
The mission of Montgomery County Interfaith Hospitality Network (MCIHN) is to serve families with children who are homeless by uniting faith communities in a cooperative effort to provide shelter, meals and compassionate assistance.
