If you are interested in
becoming a financial donor, below are some options:
Make
a contribution by writing a check
Establish a monthly
or quarterly pledge of any size
Donate appreciated
stock or real property (tax deductible)
Many companies

to MCIHN through your company and your company may increase the value
of your donation by 50% to 100%.
Write MCIHN into
your will, or make a planned bequest
Designate MCIHN
as a beneficiary of an insurance policy
Honor a special
person by giving a gift in their name. (great for celebrating birthdays,
Christmas, weddings, or other special occasions!)
MCIHN

Goods
and services
MCIHN has a continuing need for certain goods and services,
including
Paper
products
Cleaning
supplies
Towels
Laundry supplies
Office / school
supplies
Feminine
hygiene products
Vehicles
Many guests that come to
MCIHN have no vehicles or have vehicles that are in very poor condition.
Often the condition is such that the cost of making the vehicle roadworthy
greatly exceeds the value of the vehicle.
MCIHN is always in need of donated
cars. More that ten vehicles have already been donated in the two years
since the inception of MCIHN.
Donated vehicles are inspected
and fixed as needed by a group of volunteers with expertise in this
area.
If you are considering trading
in your vehicle, or if you find yourself with a spare unused vehicle,
please consider donating it to MCIHN. A reliable vehicle can make the
difference between employment and unemployment, between self-sufficiency
and dependency on social services.
Donation of a vehicle qualifies as a tax deduction.
The donor will receive a receipt with which to claim the fair market
value of the vehicle.
For questions or more information
on how you can make a difference with a vehicle donation, please contact
the MCIHN director, Dr. Mishler: (936) 441-8778 or director@mcihn.org .
